unavailable." What
does this mean?

|

Answer:
If you see this message, this indicates that you either have to
insert the installation CD/DVD or locate the MSI file on source
computer. The location on source computer is usually the same
as indicated in pull-down menu of the message window. If not, check

SoftRescue Pro
has "frozen" and is no longer processing any data. How do I fix
this?
|
|
Answer:
You need to terminate the SoftRescue process,
and then read the logfile located on the same location you selected
for the transfer file. You will find the program that failed in the
logfile list. When you start a new transfer, you have to leave that
program unchecked. The program that failed needs to be installed
manually on your new computer. It will be of great help to us and
other users if you report to us which program that failed. You can
do that by placing the application title in the subject field in an
email and send it to: appfailed@anovasoft.com Some anti-virus
and anti-spyware programs may cause SoftRescue Pro to malfunction.
Deactivate firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spyware on both computers
and try the transfer again.

Why doesn't my Adobe programs work after restore?
|
Answer: Due to the Adobe licesing service, you have to release your old license on your old computer before using it on the new computer. This is because Adobe® uses an online solution, which checks if your license is used on more then one computer.
This is done by opening your Adobe® product on your old computer. Then open a new document/image/project, and go to the Help menu. Push Deactivate and follow on screen instructions from Adobe®. Be sure to write down your license key.

Microsoft Office asks for the
installation CD/DVD
|
|
This means that
you either have deleted your MSOCache installer files on source PC,
or you deselected the option to include the install files in the
transfer.
There are some
options to fix this:
- If you have
the MSOCache installer files on the old computer. Simply copy them
from your C:\ on source PC and paste them into target PC.
- If you have
deleted the installer files, please insert the original
installation CD/DVD for Microsoft Office.
A restart is
strongly recommended after doing a quick
repairinstall.
